An 8 × 10 studio test print from the Iris photographs in The Brown Wall Series.
Iris is about saturation and physical presence: purple becoming dense, ruffled, almost bodily against the dark Brown Wall. This print was made as part of my ongoing testing of how different fine-art papers carry the deep color and shadow of the series.
