Chartreuse hydrangeas fill a clear vessel, with a small green Vaseline-glass family object in front of them. Against the brown wall, the greens shift between flower, glass, shadow, and light.

The photograph is part of my continuing practice of placing flowers, family objects, and ordinary things together on the brown wall and allowing their relationships to change as I photograph them.
